One study found that women aged between 35-55 taking VERISOL® collagen regularly, had significantly higher skin elasticity compared to a placebo treatment, and this effect could be measured just after 4 weeks of treatment. However, the study was based on a sample size of 69 women, with only a short amount of time conducting the experiment.   

Further studies indicate that FORTIGEL® may contribute to the regeneration of joint cartilage by acting directly on the body’s cells. FORTIGEL® is composed of bioactive collagen peptides, developed to enhance the maintenance of joint cartilage health, which could help to relieve joint pain and contribute to regeneration. However, the study conducted was based on patients with joint issues, instead of comparing with healthy populations too.
