What’s Inside the Hair & Nails Bundle?
This bundle combines three complementary nutrients – collagen peptides, bioavailable silica and vitamin C – that may work synergistically to support hair, skin and nails from multiple angles: structural proteins, connective tissue support and antioxidant protection.
Collagen Peptides
Our collagen peptides are hydrolysed for improved absorption. We use VERISOL®, a specific, standardised form of bioactive collagen peptides, broken down into smaller peptides to make them easier for the body to utilise.
Collagen provides the raw materials and key amino acids your body needs to make keratin and connective tissue proteins. As hair and nails are made up predominantly of keratin (around 90%), collagen supplementation may help support healthy hair and nail growth by supplying amino acids required for keratin production and supporting surrounding connective tissues.
Our collagen peptides also contain copper and zinc, which contribute to the maintenance of normal hair and nails.
Is collagen good for hair?
While collagen does not directly “grow” hair, it provides structural amino acids that support keratin formation and the environment in which hair develops. Research on collagen peptides has also explored improvements in skin properties, which may indirectly benefit scalp health.
Bioavailable Silica (Bloosil™)
Our Silica Supplement (Bloosil™) provides a highly absorbable source of silicon, a trace mineral involved in connective tissue health. Silicon plays a role in collagen production and contributes to the structural integrity of skin, hair and nails.
By supporting collagen synthesis and connective tissue structure, silica may help maintain hair strength and support nail health.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C plays an essential role in normal collagen formation and contributes to the normal function of skin. It is a required cofactor for enzymes involved in collagen synthesis. Without adequate vitamin C, collagen formation is impaired.
Vitamin C also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, supporting the normal environment in which skin and hair follicles function.
The Science Behind Our Hair & Nails Bundle
Collagen and Dermal Structure
VERISOL® collagen peptides have been investigated in clinical studies for their effects on skin elasticity, hydration and dermal structure. Healthy dermal structure contributes to the environment surrounding hair follicles.
Silicium and Hair/Nail Strength
Silicium contributes to the strength and elasticity of connective tissues through its interactions with collagen, elastin and keratin. Research on orthosilicic acid has indicated improvements in hair tensile strength and reduced nail brittleness.
Vitamin C and Collagen Synthesis
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. This function is central to maintaining skin integrity and supporting normal skin structure.
